Change-Sunday June 15

The books are in! You can pick one up in the prayer room. ($13.00 each)
Thank you Linda for ordering them for us!
We are starting Change your Heart Change your life this week.
Please read Chapters 1-4.

Thoughts from class:

Linda shared with us Romans 9:14-16
What then shall we say? Is God unjust? Not at all! For he says to Moses, "I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion." It does not, therefore, depend on man's desire or effort, but on God's mercy.
Please share your insights from class,
comments on our new book: Change your heart...,
and prayer requests for the week.
(At the very least, say "Hi" and tell us you were here!)
Check back as the week goes on, so you do not miss the comments and prayer requests from others.
Thank you for sharing!

Hi Girls!
My verse for this week is Ephesians 4:30-32
And do not grieve the Holy Spirt of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of your redemption. Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God forgave you.
My pray request: Pray the Lord would continue to remove all anger and bitterness from my heart. Thanks !
Have a great week!

I think I will also attempt to memorize and meditate upon Ephesians 4:30-32; wow, what a loaded verse! Best wishes Deb, as you sow these words into your heart; they will challenge a few deep-seated, faulty beliefs, for sure!

I would like to extend an invitation to all of you to join a 12 week Bible Study, "Experiencing God" beginning next Monday, June 23 at 2:30pm. We will meet in the Prayer Room at Grace Church. Please pray about this opportunity; the study is wonderful. I was forever altered (thank goodness!) by what I learned in this study.

Also, there is quite an event coming to the Christian Community in our area. Saturday evening, June 21st, is the first night of a series of consecutive nightly meetings for Christians. The hope and focus of the event is to provide biblical teaching that will empower God's Spirit to work in the hearts of those in attendance to experience personal spiritual revival. Calvary is hosting it. Many of the evangelical churches in our area have come together to sponsor this event. Again, it is not an event for seekers but for Christians.
